I’m on Pinterest now.
Well, I’ve always been on Pinterest, but I just recently turned it into a business account and started putting all my Quinto Creations Etsy listings and videos there.
Check it out:
Quinto Creations on Pinterest
Follow me and let me know you found me through the blog! I’d love to follow you back and see what sort of fun things everyone else likes to pin!
Wow! I did it! I posted all my old videos and finally caught up!
It took a month to post all of those videos and I hope that you enjoy every single one of them.
As you can see, I am also posting new videos as they come out, so you are seeing two posts on some days.
In these next few days, I will be posting one shop listings that are live in my Etsy shop.
Once I catch up with all of those posting, you probably won’t see me posting every day. While I would love to, I just don’t know if I have enough content to do so. For the most part, I will be posting every Tuesday and Thursday. Those are the days that Youtube videos go out. When extra videos, or shop listings, come up, then I will post those outside of the normal Tuesday/Thursday schedule.
I hope you are enjoying this blog and if there is anything that you would like to see, please let me know.
What sort of extra detail would you like me to include in each blog posting? Would you like a list of the materials I used in each video? Just let me know!
Also, if you have any crafty related questions, leave them in the comments. If possible, I will answer them in an upcoming video!
If you have any video suggestions, I’d love to hear them too!
Thank you for being so patient with me!
I’m sure you’re starting to notice some changes around here. The name changed, the icon changed…
Things are changing. That is life.
I started CutieQ Cards n Crafts in 2011. Back then, I thought I was going to focus on cards and banners and other crafty stuff. While I didn’t want to dive in 100% into a small business, I wanted it to be something I could make a little spending money with.
CutieQ Cards n Crafts struggled for a long time. We struggled with Etsy sales. We struggled with getting a following. It wasn’t easy but I was deteremined. Success does not come overnight.
Blogging here came in waves. I’d be really into it and blog all the time. Then I’d feel discouraged and just drop everything and work on figuring out how to make myself better.
Last year, I really fell in love with lettering. I’ve always admired it from afar, but never thought I could actually do it, and do it fairly well. But with a lot of practice, I feel like I’m at the point where I could start to feature my work on my own Instagram account and start to put something things for sale in my Etsy shop.
That’s when “CutieQ Cards n Crafts” just didn’t feel like it fit the direction my shop and I were going.
I rebranded. “CutieQ” needed to grow up.
Enter, QUINTO CREATIONS.
Please remain patient with all the dust this rebranding is kicking up. I’m hoping to settle everything soon.. I’m so excited for what the future now holds!
I’m on. I’m off. I’m on again!
I’m desperately trying to figure out how to incorporate a blog into my hectic daily life, but I’m determined to make it work!
I’m so far behind in posting my Youtube video you’ll be seeing posts from me every day, until I catch up!
In the effort to catch up, I will posting videos from newest to oldest. Some days will have multiple postings because of the new videos that go up every Tuesday and Thursday.
I will also start posting my Etsy listings so you can see what is available in my shop!
Get ready, here we go!
Ok, I know I’ve said that before. And really, being about 8 months pregnant isn’t a great time to start up the craft blog again.
But.. here I am.
Because I am roughly eight months pregnant….
Because my life is going to change drastically becoming a (possibly) stay at home mother of two versus a working mother of one…
Because it’s pretty hard to juggle two blogs, remember Living Life In The Carpool Lane..
Because I do plan on taking this in a direction that will possible become an outlet to help sell handmade product..
Because I just have a drive to keep this blog going, no matter how inconsistent I’ve been in the past..
I’ve decided that for the time being, this blog will be updated once a week.
Since it’s December 1st, a Monday, the blog will post a new entry every Monday.
Also, since I’ve been gone, I’ve learned that I like sewing. So, not only will I concentrate on cards and scrapbook layouts, but I will also have some sewing projects and some kid’s Pinterest projects featured on this blog.
I’m going to concentrate on the “crafts” part of CutieQ Cards n Crafts, but I will still do cards. I love cards. I’ll always love cards. But I’m learning so much more.
So, here it is. Here is my comeback. Again.
After a nice LOOOOOONG break from this blog, I’m so glad to say I’m back and ready to take this all on full-force!
As you can see, I’ve made some changes to the look of this blog. I’ve made two main changes. I updated the theme to something that reflected me much more AND I’ve added my newly created logo.. more on that tomorrow!
I took a break from this blog because I wanted to figure out how to make it better.
It’s still a work in progress, but I felt that it was time to pick this up again to give me another outlet to show you all what I’ve been up to lately.
I don’t plan on a set schedule. It was too much pressure to stick to a schedule and I felt that it affected the content greatly.
Quality over quantity.
I will TRY daily, but I do promise to have some sort of content every week.
I’ve been pretty busy trying figure out the direction I want my crafting to go and I think that I’m slowly finding my way. I can’t wait to let you all in on what I’ve been up to.
I also can’t wait to create for you!
For those that have been waiting patiently for my blog-return, thank you for sticking it out! For those just now finding this blog, please feel free to search the older posts to get an idea of what I am about!
Don’t forget I’m always open to requests and questions!
This was my status update the other day on Facebook:
I do still have about two items left from the four I put in to test the waters.
A good friend of mine purchased two of them. If you read my personal blog, my friend also owns an etsy store and you can see the blog post about it here.
I’m putting the store on hold til Sept 7th, the day of my daughter’s birthday party. I need the time to really concentrate on the last minute crafts and details of the party.
Party planning.. it’s a love/hate thing. I love all the crafts and designing of a party.. I hate the details.. like.. the food. I love making the invitations and sending them out. I hate picking a venue.
I could go on and on.
If I could only be responsible for the theme, decorations, dessert table, cake, and other party related crafts, that would be the best!!!
I promise, September will be THE month for major movement in the CutieQ Cards n Crafts world.
