I love to post videos of the how I created my Etsy listings so that viewers, and shopppers, can see that all the products I create are truly made by me.  I also love to inspire people to create their own masterpieces pulling from techniques that I show in my videos.

Gift tags..

I’m not a tag maker.  I mean, I make tags for Christmas, but they were never those manila tags that were shaped like tags.  So when the opportunity came along to buy some of these manila tags, I jumped at it.  It’s always nice to try something new..

I’m definitely not Tim Holtz or any of those other super talented people I see online that make these amazing tags.

But I do what I know and I like what I do..

When it came time to actually make a gift tag for a friend’s birthday party for their two boys, I was excited…

Here are the gift tags:

Materials used:

1. Lawn Fawn’s “Quinn’s ABCs” stamp set
2. Sweet Stamp Shop’s “Fall Gratitude” stamp set
3. Versafine “Onyx Black” Ink
4. Distress Ink in “Tea Dye”
5. Distress Ink in “”Frayed Burlap”
6. Hero Arts Hero Hues in “Green”
7. Tonbow Markers

These totally are my style and I love the way they came out.  They are bold and clean and simple to make.

Do you make gift tags?  I’d love to see how you do them!

Going back to red..

Materials used:

1.  Joys Life Fathers and Sons stamp set2.  Versa Fine Ink in Onyx Black
3.  Some old border stamp set

This is the last of the big blog blitz of December 2013.  I went back to the red/black/white color combination again.  It’s just a real “go to” combination for me.  I find the most inspiration from it.

This is super simple.  This is super clean.  All those strips of paper were scraps from previous projects.

I have one more card to show and then I will start showing some of the Christmas crafts I’ve been working on.  If you want a sneak peek, make sure to follow me on Facebook, CutieQ Cards n Crafts.

Birdie birthday

Materials used:

1.  Lawn Fawn’s “A Birdie Told Me” Stamp Set
2.  Joys Life “Father and Sons” Stamp Set
3.  Versafine Ink in Onyx Black

I love this card.  It’s simple but so bright and cheery!

I fussy cut the little bird after stamping it onto yellow cardstock.  Then I made strips of the same yellow cardstock to create the little paper trim.  I added stitch lines with a black pen to make give it extra interest.

I’m still loving the color combination of yellow and blue.. it’s quickly turning into a favorite!
