Mommy Lhey Design’s November Little Bits Box – Unboxing

Continuing with my “newest to oldest” theme of posting videos while I play catch up… read here… this is the unboxing for the Little Bits Box I purchased in November.

Please take a moment to share this video with all of your crafty friends.  Also, please like and subscribe to my channel so you won’t miss out on any new content!

I’m sure you’re starting to notice some changes around here.  The name changed, the icon changed…

Things are changing.  That is life.

I started CutieQ Cards n Crafts in 2011.  Back then, I thought I was going to focus on cards and banners and other crafty stuff.  While I didn’t want to dive in 100% into a small business, I wanted it to be something I could make a little spending money with.

CutieQ Cards n Crafts struggled for a long time.  We struggled with Etsy sales.  We struggled with getting a following.  It wasn’t easy but I was deteremined.  Success does not come overnight.

Blogging here came in waves.  I’d be really into it and blog all the time.  Then I’d feel discouraged and just drop everything and work on figuring out how to make myself better.

Last year, I really fell in love with lettering.  I’ve always admired it from afar, but never thought I could actually do it, and do it fairly well.  But with a lot of practice, I feel like I’m at the point where I could start to feature my work on my own Instagram account and start to put something things for sale in my Etsy shop.

That’s when “CutieQ Cards n Crafts” just didn’t feel like it fit the direction my shop and I were going.

I rebranded.  “CutieQ” needed to grow up.

Please remain patient with all the dust this rebranding is kicking up.  I’m hoping to settle everything soon.. I’m so excited for what the future now holds!

“He Is Risen” – Easter piece on Etsy

I decided to add an Easter piece to the shop.  I love the subtle gold shadowing in this piece.  It’s clean and simple, yet says so much!

Please place your order for this piece on or before April 7th, 2017 to ensure the item arrives before Easter Sunday.

Please click the link above for more information about the piece and how to order.  If you have any questions or concerns, please leave a comment below or contact me directly on Etsy.

November’s Subscriber Goal

October was a great month.

I aimed for 40 subscribers and reached that goal.  I reached 40 and more!  I was so happy and thankful for all the support!

This month, I’m aiming for 6o subscribers.

A week and a half into the month and I’m already at 56 subscribers.

Cardmaking – Hope Your Day Is Awesome

That metallic acrylic paint is awesome.  By loosening it up with a little bit of water, I painted on a thin, even coat of the metallic paint onto the watercolor paper.

The results are magical!

I really wish I could tell you where that paint is from.  I hope I can find something comparable when I finally run out of it.

If you have any suggestions for a good metallic acrylic paint set, leave them in the comments below!
